Overview
Our diverse and growing organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor Therapists to join our team. This role involves providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dual diagnoses, ADHD, and developmental delays. As a part of this team, you should have a willingness to learn and work in a collaborative and challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to company policies and procedures when interacting with clients.

Be able to assist clients with meals, recreation, and daily hygiene regime

Foster a healthy, positive environment to promote client progress.

Implement and carryout ABA/IBI programs tailored to client needs and goals.

Support client development through individualized strategies and progress monitoring.

Maintain effective collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including families.

Provide services in 1:1 and group settings, as well as collaboratively with other team members.

Engage in community walks and activities as part of client care.

Be punctual and professional

Work with clients who may exhibit high levels of aggression.

Work with instruction and also without instruction or supervision
-
Collect and graph data for all programs offered here at the center
Qualifications and Skills:
-
College diploma or Bachelor of Arts degree in Autism Behavioral Science, Psychology, or a related field (or currently pursuing such).

Experience providing intensive behavioral intervention and/or applied behavioral analysis preferred, but not required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA/IBI services to persons with autism.

Experience working with special needs individuals with high aggression.

Solid understanding of delayed development and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Strong organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Compassionate, team-oriented approach with a focus on individual strengths and potential.

Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
-
Candidates will be required to present a valid and clear police vulnerable sector check prior to receiving an offer of employment.
Typical Work Schedule (changes in shifts can occur based on client needs):

Must be available to work Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Must be available to work the occasional weekend shifts as scheduled.
